This. This I like. And up till five months ago I owned a Scrambler, which I personalised with Ohlins shocks, fork upgrade, airfilter and Thunderbike pipes. I kind of regret selling it now. Though this would be well expensive to replicate. Great to see the new school Triumph parallel twin popping up in these custom applications.

The other thing that is a major upgrade over stock is the brake. The stock front brake on the Scrambler is pretty average (a HD Sprotster I rode last year had a way better front brake). If you had two sets of wheels for this you could road race it at the weekends and trail ride it after work... fantastic.

Shocks look way longer than stock (from memory stock are 305mm eye to eye) but the thing is sitting right, so the fork must be longer too?

I need to execute my ideas earlier. The Tridays crew totes stole my idea (new suspension on a Scrambler). Great look on the tank, though. Didn't think of that.

YES! Triumph- you have hordes of fans and customers waiting for you if only you would put some time in to meld 'desert sled' and 'hooligan bike.' All I'd do is change the tires- and I'd have a perfect commuter/ fire road bike.

I suspect the reasons the bars have been left open is to perhaps easily slot bar end mirrors in when needed?

Very, very nice, big improvement on the stock version. I agree seat is a bit thin though.
Why can't Triumph look to their roots and see the appeal of the 'Desert Sled' vine? Would wheel spin out of the showrooms.

Love it. I too could stand to see some more pad on the seat, but other than that this thing is damn near perfection for a stock based bike.

One of my all-time favorites on Bike EXIF! And that is saying something considering all the great bikes that Chris serves up every week.
I'd put a little bit more stuffing in the saddle. That's IT. Great stance, great color, black rims, the best suspension [real world] money can buy, real brakes... Yup, that ticks all my boxes. I hate this cliché, but THIS IS WHAT TRIUMPH SHOULD BE OFFERING.
